Lebanon's highest peak is "Al Ournat Al Sawda" (3,088 m / 10,131 ft).

[^] Jounieh

15 Km north of Beirut, it is located on the majestic bay of Jounieh on the sea coast of the Mediterranean. Most of its residents live in houses where their balconies overlook the spacious scenery. This city still retains the charm of yesterday in the old stone souk area where you can find outdoor cafes and restaurants mixed among boutiques.  As soon as the sun sets, the daytime charm turns into night-time glitz. A night time gaze gives a remarkable sparkling view of the area.
